Jim Thomason (James N. Thomason) was born on October 4, 1919. After going to high school at Brownwood (TX), Thomason attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Thomason made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
