Jim Thomas (James F. Thomas) was born on May 6, 1917. After going to high school at Oilton (OK), Thomas attended the University of Oklahoma. Thomas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
