Jim Tarrant (James Robert Tarrant) was born on February 18, 1921 in Birmingham, Alabama. Tarrant attended Samford University and the University of Tennessee. Tarrant made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Miami Seahawks. He played for the Miami Seahawks for his entire 1 year career.
