Jim Steen (James Steen) was born on March 28, 1913 in Brooklyn, New York. After going to high school at New Rochelle (NY), Steen attended Syracuse University. Steen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 2 year career.
