Jim Schrader (James Lee Schrader) was born on June 27, 1932 in Weston, West Virginia. After going to high school at Scott Township (Carnegie, PA), Schrader attended the University of Notre Dame. Schrader made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1958 was Jim Schrader's best year.
