Jim Rosecrans (James Edward Rosecrans) was born on January 13, 1953 in Asheville, North Carolina. After going to high school at West Genesee (Camillus, NY), Rosecrans attended Pennsylvania State University. Rosecrans made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
