Jim Romano (James John Romano) was born on September 7, 1959 in Glen Cove, New York. After going to high school at North Shore (Glen Head, NY), Romano attended Pennsylvania State University. Romano made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Los Angeles Raiders. He played for the Los Angeles Raiders and Houston Oilers over the course of his 5 year career.
