Jim Rogers (James F. Rogers) was born on April 9, 1872 in Hartford, Connecticut. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1896 for the Washington Senators. In 1896, his rookie year, he hit .266 with 1 home run and 68 RBI. Rogers played for the Washington Senators and Louisville Colonels over the course of his 2 year career.
