Jim Reid (James Jarrett Reid) was born on February 13, 1971 in Newport News, Virginia. After going to high school at Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA), Reid attended the University of Virginia. Reid made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 1 year career.
