Jim Ramey (James Edward Ramey) was born on March 9, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky. After going to high school at Belfry (KY), Ramey attended the University of Kentucky. Ramey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career.
