Jim Powers (James W. Powers) was born on February 29, 1928. After going to high school at Beverly Hills (CA), Powers attended the University of Southern California. Powers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 4 year career.
