Jim Plunkett

Jim Plunkett (James William Plunkett) was born on December 5, 1947 in San Jose, California. After going to high school at James Lick (San Jose, CA) and Overfelt (San Jose, CA), Plunkett attended Stanford University. Plunkett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the New England Patriots. He played for the Los Angeles Raiders, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 15 year career.
Most people believe that 1983 was Jim Plunkett's best year, as he threw for 2935 yards and tossed 20 TDs.
