Jim Perkins (James William Perkins) was born on June 16, 1939 in Loyalton, California. After going to high school at Loyalton (CO), Perkins attended the University of Colorado. Perkins made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 3 year career.
