Jim Pendleton (James Edward Pendleton) was born on January 7, 1924 in St. Charles, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1953 for the Milwaukee Braves. In 1953, his rookie year, he hit .299 with 7 home runs and 27 RBI. Pendleton played for the Milwaukee Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds and Houston Colt .45s over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Jim Pendleton's best season was 1953, when he hit for a .299 average.
