Jim Peebles (James McAden Peebles) was born on August 27, 1920 in Culleoka, Tennessee. After going to high school at Columbia Military Academy (Columbia, TN), Peebles attended Vanderbilt Universtiy. Peebles made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1946 was Jim Peebles's best year.
