Jim Pederson (James Palmer Pederson) was born on October 19, 1907 in Harvey, North Dakota. After going to high school at Willmar (MN), Pederson attended Augsburg College. Pederson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Minneapolis Red Jackets. He played for the Chicago Bears, Frankford Yellow Jackets and Minneapolis Red Jackets over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1932 was Jim Pederson's best year.
