Jim Pearcy (James Wheeler Pearcy) was born on July 26, 1920 in Harrisville, West Virginia. After going to high school at Huntington (WV), Pearcy attended Marshall University. Pearcy made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Chicago Rockets. He played for the Chicago Rockets and Chicago Hornets over the course of his 4 year career.
