Jim Pearce

Born on June 9, 1925 in Zebulon, North Carolina, Jim Pearce (James Madison Pearce) played for the Washington Senators and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 5 year career. Pearce broke into the bigs on September 8, 1949 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 6.04 ERA in 56.2 innings pitched in 1950, his rookie year.
