Jim Pastorius

Born on July 12, 1881 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jim Pastorius (James Washington Pastorius) played for the Brooklyn Superbas for his entire 4 year career. Pastorius broke into the bigs on April 15, 1906 with the Brooklyn Superbas, and put up a 3.61 ERA in 211.2 innings pitched in 1906, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Jim Pastorius's best season was 1907, when he posted a 2.35 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 70 batters.
