Jim Panther

Born on March 1, 1945 in Burlington, Iowa, Jim Panther (James Edward Panther) played for the Oakland Athletics, Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 3 year career. Panther broke into the bigs on April 5, 1971 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 4.13 ERA in 93.2 innings pitched in 1972, his rookie year.
