Jim Pagliaroni (James Vincent Pagliaroni) was born on December 8, 1937 in Dearborn, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on August 13, 1955 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1961, his rookie year, he hit .242 with 16 home runs and 58 RBI. Pagliaroni played for the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, Oakland Athletics and Seattle Pilots over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Jim Pagliaroni's best season was 1965, when he slugged 17 home runs and knocked in 65 runs.
