Jim Pace (James Edward Pace) was born on January 1, 1936 in Little Rock, Arkansas. After going to high school at Dunbar (Little Rock, AR), Pace attended the University of Michigan. Pace made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
