Jim Norris (James Francis Norris) was born on December 20, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 1977 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1977, his rookie year, he hit .270 with 2 home runs and 37 RBI. Norris played for the Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Jim Norris's best season was 1977, when he stole 26 bases.
