Jim Mosolf (James Frederick Mosolf) was born on August 21, 1905 in Puyallup, Washington. He made his Major League debut on September 9, 1929 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Mosolf played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 4 year career.
