Jim Mora Should Sit Michael Vick!

Whatever happened to the days where Michael Vick was going to redefine the quarterback position in the NFL? Yeah, the broken down bandwagon on the side of the road, the was bursting into flames…That’s the same bandwagon that everyone rode on at some point, including myself….Whatever happened to that? However, those days are, done, finished, over, etc…Now the question that should be raised, should he even be starting as the Falcons quarterback? And yes, that’s a fair question to ask.
If this guy did come into the league with so much hype, his ass would already be holding a clipboard on the sidelines. See, it’s the quarterback’s job to deliver the pigskin to wide receivers…Something that Vick can’t, nor will he ever learn how to do! Quarterbacks are usually born with this ability, and seeing as how he’s made it all the way to the NFL, shouldn’t he be able to do this by now? Anybody who says it’s the system, must think T.O. is a team player also. It doesn’t take this long to master the system playing at this level. If it does you shouldn’t be playing at this level then. Funny, Matt Schaub doesn’t appear to have any trouble in this same system…And he hardly even plays!
It’s time to face the music…Michael Vick isn’t suited to play quarterback in the NFL, just like his brother Marcus! When Marcus was playing at Virginia Tech, (before shooting up McDonald’s & stomping on opponent’s chests) it was said that he was the better passer than brother Michael. So where is Marcus now, on the Miami Dolphins scout team as a converted wide receiver. Hello, the Miami Dolphins quarterback situation isn’t the most stable one, but yet Marcus is still on the practice squad as a receiver…And this is the better Vick quarterback? Jim Mora might want to call Urban Meyer next and start putting Michael in the back & Schaub under center? By no means would there be anything would with this…It could only help, right?
The question then becomes when is Jim Mora going to grow some ONIONS and sit Michael? Is he ever, most likely not. We all know that with Michael Vick at quarterback, the Atlanta Falcons aren’t going to reach their full potential, no matter what kind of offense that he’s running. Even in the Fantasy Football world, there’s a reason why this quarterback doesn’t get drafted until late, (if at all…Depending on your league). A quarterback in a league (both the NFL & Fantasy), who’s unable to deliver the pigskin to teammates, qualifies as not being productive enough…Not doing his part. This is exactly the case when it comes to Michael Vick. Defenses take his running abilities away and what is left is a clone of Vinny Testaverde when he broke into the league with Tampa. Only difference…Vinny completed more passes, all be it, to a lot of defensive player, at least he could throw it to people. As Tampa learned, sometimes you just have to say enough is enough and cut the strings. These days are here for Jim Mora & the Falcons!
It’s funny, when the San Diego Chargers traded the first overall pick in the draft we all thought, “What are they doing?” “Are they crazy?’ So Michael Vick landed in Atlanta and LaDainian Tomlinson wound up in San Diego…I wonder who got the better of that deal, since it’s quite apparent Michael Vick SUCKS & every week he’s impersonating an NFL starting quarterback.
