Jim Mcmahon (James Robert McMahon) was born on August 21, 1959 in Jersey City, New Jersey. After going to high school at Roy (UT), Mcmahon attended Brigham Young University. Mcmahon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, Minnesota Vikings and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 15 year career.
Most people believe that 1985 was Jim Mcmahon's best year, as he threw for 2392 yards and tossed 15 TDs.
