Jim Mcfarland (James Darrell McFarland) was born on October 4, 1947 in North Platte, Nebraska. After going to high school at North Platte (NE), Mcfarland attended the University of Nebraska. Mcfarland made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1971 was Jim Mcfarland's best year.
