Jim Mason (James Percy Mason) was born on August 14, 1950 in Mobile, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on September 26, 1971 for the Washington Senators. In 1972, his rookie year, he hit .197 with 0 home runs and 10 RBI. Mason played for the Washington Senators, Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expos over the course of his 9 year career.
