Born on August 18, 1946 in Marinette, Wisconsin, Jim Magnuson (James Robert Magnuson) played for the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees over the course of his 3 year career. Magnuson broke into the bigs on June 28, 1970 with the Chicago White Sox.
