Jim Magee (James J. Magee) was born on November 27, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Magee attended the University of Georgia and Villanova University. Magee made his professional debut in the NFL in 1944 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the Boston Yanks for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1945 was Jim Magee's best year.
