Jim Lyttle (James Lawrence Lyttle) was born on May 20, 1946 in Hamilton, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on May 17, 1969 for the New York Yankees. In 1976, his rookie year, he hit .248 with 1 home run and 13 RBI. Lyttle played for the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Montreal Expos and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 8 year career.
