Jim Lynch (James Robert Lynch) was born on August 28, 1945 in Lima, Ohio. After going to high school at Central Catholic (Lima, OH), Lynch attended the University of Notre Dame. Lynch made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time. Lynch also played in the NFL for 8 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time.
Most people believe that 1968 was Jim Lynch's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
