Jim Levey (James Julius Levey) was born on September 13, 1906 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 17, 1930 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1931, his rookie year, he hit .209 with 5 home runs and 38 RBI. Levey played for the St. Louis Browns for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that Jim Levey's best season was 1932, when he hit for a .280 average and knocked in 63 runs.
