Jim Laslavic (James Edward Laslavic) was born on October 24, 1951 in Etna, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Etna (PA), Laslavic attended Pennsylvania State University. Laslavic made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions, San Diego Chargers and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was Jim Laslavic's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
