Jim Laird

Jim Laird (James Tyler Laird) was born on September 10, 1897 in Montpelier, Vermont. After going to high school at Holderness (Plymouth, NH), Laird attended Colgate University. Laird made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Rochester Jeffersons. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Rochester Jeffersons the entire time. Laird also played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the Providence Steam Roller, Staten Island Stapletons and Buffalo All-Americans over the course of his 6 year NFL career.
