Jim Kerr (James N. Kerr) was born on July 23, 1939 in Colver, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at St. Clairsville (OH), Kerr attended Pennsylvania State University. Kerr made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1961 was Jim Kerr's best year, as he picked off 7 passes.
