Jim Keane (James Patrick Keane) was born on January 11, 1924 in Bellaire, Ohio. After going to high school at Bellaire (OH), Keane attended Northwestern University and the University of Iowa. Keane made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Jim Keane's best year, as he hauled in 64 receptions, had 910 receiving yards and caught 10 TD passes.
