Jim Kamp (James Kamp) was born on December 5, 1907 in El Reno, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Sacred Heart (El Reno, OK), Kamp attended Oklahoma City University. Kamp made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Boston Redskins and Staten Island Stapletons over the course of his 2 year career.
