Jim Jones (James Tilford Jones) was born on December 25, 1876 in London, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on June 29, 1897 for the Louisville Colonels. In 1902, his rookie year, he hit .237 with 0 home runs and 19 RBI. Jones played for the Louisville Colonels and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career.
