Jim Jackson (James Benner Jackson) was born on November 28, 1877 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 26, 1901 for the Baltimore Orioles. In 1901, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 2 home runs and 50 RBI. Jackson played for the Baltimore Orioles, New York Giants and Cleveland Naps over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that Jim Jackson's best season was 1906, when he stole 25 bases.
