Jim Harvey (James Britton Harvey, Jr.) was born on August 20, 1943 in Jackson, Mississippi. After going to high school at Forest (MS), Harvey attended the University of Mississippi. Harvey made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the Oakland Raiders. He played in the AFL for 4 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time. Harvey also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time.
