Jim Harris (James Harris, Jr.) was born on April 24, 1943 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. After going to high school at Berkeley (CA), Harris attended Utah State University. Harris made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 3 year career.
