Jim Harness (James Harness) was born on April 6, 1934 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. After going to high school at Central (West Helena, AR), Harness attended Mississippi State University. Harness made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 1 year career.
