Born on January 7, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Jim Hannan (James John Hannan) played for the Washington Senators, Milwaukee Brewers and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 10 year career. Hannan broke into the bigs on April 17, 1962 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 3.31 ERA in 68 innings pitched in 1962, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jim Hannan's best season was 1968, when he posted a 3.01 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 75 batters.
