Born on July 17, 1866 in Columbus, Ohio, Jim Handiboe (James Edward Handiboe) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career. Handiboe broke into the bigs on May 28, 1886 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 3.32 ERA in 114 innings pitched in 1886, his rookie year.
