Jim Gray (James H. Gray) was born on August 23, 1941. After going to high school at White Plains (NY), Gray attended the University of Toledo. Gray made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the New York Jets. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Jets the entire time. Gray also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Philadelphia Eagles the entire time.
Most people believe that 1966 was Jim Gray's best year.
