Jim Gilmore (James Thomas Gilmore) was born on December 19, 1962 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at North Catholic (Philadelphia, PA), Gilmore attended Ohio State University and Villanova University. Gilmore made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 2 year career.
