Jim Gaffney

Jim Gaffney (James T. Gaffney, Jr.) was born on April 21, 1921 in Cumberland, Maryland. After going to high school at Allegany (Cumberland, MD), Gaffney attended the University of Tennessee. Gaffney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1946 was Jim Gaffney's best year.
