Jim Fridley

Jim Fridley (James Riley Fridley) was born on September 6, 1924 in Phillippi, West Virginia. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1952 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1952, his rookie year, he hit .251 with 4 home runs and 16 RBI. Fridley played for the Cleveland Indians, Baltimore Orioles and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 3 year career.
