Jim Finigan

Jim Finigan (James Leroy Finigan) was born on August 19, 1928 in Quincy, Illinois and was a two-time All-Star during his brief Major League career. He made his Major League debut on April 25, 1954 for the Philadelphia Athletics.
In 1954, his rookie year, he hit .302 with 7 home runs and 51 RBI and finished second behind the New York Yankees' Bob Grim in the Rookie of the Year voting. Finigan played for the Philadelphia Athletics, Kansas City Athletics, Detroit Tigers, San Francisco Giants and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that Jim Finigan's best season was 1955, when he knocked in 68 runs.
